A-PLUS CONTRACTING PTY LTD was established in 2005 by Andrew & Debbie Hughes of Greta in the NSW Hunter Valley. With a strong background in the earthmoving & civil works industries Andrew began the company with a view to servicing the mining industry by offering a professional, cost-effective & comprehensive contracting service.

From very humble beginnings, Andrew has grown A-PLUS into one of the most trusted & respected contracting companies operating in the Hunter Valley. With our professionally maintained, modern fleet of plant & equipment together with our highly motivated & trained staff we offer our valued clients piece of mind, knowing that their works will be completed on time, on budget & to the highest quality without the worry of downtime or delays.

A Plus Contracting and Poly Welding Pty Ltd has become the preferred supplier of contracting services to a wide variety of industries. These include several major Coal Mining Operations, Power Stations, Industrial Estate developers, Wineries & Federal, State & Local Governments as well as several major events held each year throughout the Hunter Valley

All of our plant and equipment has completed the Capability Resources MDG15 compliance audit which will streamline the Introduction to Site process for the local coal mine sites
