We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Crushing and Screening Operators to join our dynamic team. This full-time role is based in Hunter Valley, NSW on one of our client mine sites and will be responsible for the efficient operation and maintenance of our crushing and screening equipment.

What you'll be doing

• Operate machinery crushing and screening equipment to process raw materials

• Perform regular inspections and maintenance on all equipment to ensure optimal performance

• Monitor production output and quality, making adjustments as needed

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise with the equipment

• Ensure a safe and compliant work environment by following all safety protocols

• Collaborate with the wider operations team to meet production targets

What we're looking for

• Experience in operating Loader (20T minimum) and hold RII ticket

• Experience in operating Excavators (20T minimum) and hold RII ticket

• Proven experience (2+ years) as a Crushing and Screening Operator in the mining industry

• Strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to fault find repairs to relay to maintenance department

• Proficient in the use of crushing and screening equipment

Due to continued growth, we have immediate long term Permanent employment opportunities for the right candidates as Poly Welding Technician in the hunter region.

Preference Will Be Given To Candidates Who Can Demonstrate That They:

• Hold a current Driver’s License, must be unrestricted Class C or higher.

• Have current poly welding certificate.

• Dogging Ticket (willing to attend training)

• Operate Chainsaw Ticket (willing to attend training)

• No less than 1 year of poly welding

 About the role 
 
A-Plus Contracting & Poly Welding Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced pumping technicians to join our team at Wambo United Joint Venture, NSW. You will play a crucial part in our clients mining operations, ensuring efficient and effective dewatering processes to support our clients' mining activities. Working lifestyle roster DAY shift only 10.5 hours. 

Key Responsibilities: 

• Operate and maintain dewatering equipment, including pumps, HDPE pipes, and hoses 

• Install and maintain dewatering installations, including poly pipe welding 

• Monitor water levels and flow rates to optimize dewatering performance 

• Perform routine inspections and maintenance on dewatering systems 

• Troubleshoot and resolve any issues with dewatering equipment 

• Ensure compliance with all relevant health, safety, and environmental regulations 

• Maintain detailed records and provide reports on dewatering activities 

• Collaborate with the wider mining operations team to achieve project goals
